Front axle swap

When changing the front axles, is there a seal that needs to be replaced? That's my main concern b/c I can't get verification of yay or nay. The exploded view on real oem isn't clear to me on whether there's one in there. Also, the videos on YouTube University don't mention anything. Of course, local shops won't give free advice and I'm not willing to pay them $500 to do something I know I can do myself. Thanx in advance!

If your seals are not leaking, if you pull the old axle out carefully and put the new one in likewise, you don't need to replace it. But as the saying goes, "as long as you are in there..."
