Will 01' Scissor Jack work on a 06' X5?

Hello,

I recently found out after a visit to the dealership that my scissor jack is missing from the trunk.

I found a site online that is selling a scissor jack for an 2001 X5, and wanted to make sure it would work for my 2006 X5.

Please advise. Thanks!

What was the answer?

I know this post is very old. I'm wanting to use an E53 scissor style jack on my 2011 E90 335D. do you happen to know someone close around that you could try your jack on. To be clear, I'm not sure the rectangular top on the scissor will fit up into the E90 jacking point. I'm unsure if the E53 X5 has a different size rectangular "spot" underneath as compared to my E90. thanks in advance
