4.8iS ride hide measurements (need your help)

Had a ride height sensor replaced drivers side front after my 4.8iS got stuck in the off road posistion for a while. It fixed itself but was randomly throwing a warning message. Tech had a ton of issues getting the system reset and I am convinced the vehicle is sitting higher than before. He recalibrated and I am suspicious he got it wrong.

Can someone with a 4.8iS on stock 20s do a measurement to the underside of the black plastic overfender from the ground across the center of the wheels front and rear so that I may compare ?

I will measure my heights shortly and add to this thread.

FWIW, I have read ALL the info here on 2 axle air suspension so I am forewarned and mindfull of the fact that this may get expensive as I am now 2k out of warranty

Many thanks

David

You should be able to find an independent BMW shop with the right equipment to calibrate the suspension.

I had mine lower my iS a bit and it turned out great, only cost me $50

little bit different question.
Bmw dealer replaced air shock observer struck front right. Because every time when car would sit for a while, i would notice only that side is lower than other, and after a while LEVEL SYSTEM INACTIVE come on. Right now.. i notice just few hours ago. a notice front LEFT is very low. as soon as i turn ON the car, car went UP. i will try make a video of that

What part of PA?

If you're near Philadelphia, VAC Motorsports is a top notch group.

Well that explains a lot I have 30 (27 11/16) Rear and 29 (27 1/8) front.
My guess was it was sitting about 2" to high. Rides like it as well.
I have an appointment locally next week ... I amy start selling off furniture to pay for it
