Another Sway Bar Link Question.

Hi all, gonna be replace ARB links tomorrow and need to know if I should have the front end off the ground to do the job or will one side at a time do? Also I have read some where that I should hand tighten the nuts on the link and then when the X is back down off the jacks with some load on the links, torque them up properly. Is that correct, or should tighten them up when I fit them? Thanks in advance.

Shaun

You can't just jack up one side or the sway bar will do its job and links are under tension. I used one jack to lift entire front end then a small one under each side just to give an easy way to achieve no load. Is very straight forward job.

Tighten up when the truck is back on the ground as you will twist the rubbers.
