activating Halogens WITH Hi-beam bi-xenons

Hi guys. I've tried searching this forum about who may have them activated on their North American models, but not much is talked about.
I know its a Euro spec thing to have both the halogens and bi-xenon hi-beam lamps on at the same time, but I have a Canadian Spec. SO I'm hoping someone can say that some software out there (say PA Soft 1.4v) could activate it, or something else? I'd reallly love to get the halogens to be on at the same time as I drive through forrests a lot and we've got some suicidal animals up here
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have wondering about the same thing but no answer so far.

There must be an electrical engineer that is bored now and can tell us how to do that, let me guess it's probably just a question of wiring.

Hmm can't be practical driving and holding the high beam stalk in? Is that one way?

PA soft wont do it. Or at least i have not figured it out yet. Pa soft just enables DRL and disables the yellow lights. Once you switch to headlights the xenons come on and halogens go off.

I know that NCS can do it, with a VAG com cable (the same used with Inpa).

One thing to check though, is if the wiring, housing etc are capable to handle the 55W bulbs to be ON continiously.
BMW designed them to work at half power for DRL, and full power intermittently to flash the high beams.

I doubt if there is any hard wiring difference between pre and post bi-xenon as far as the high beams are concerned.
If you really must have the halogen lights on in the high beam mode then I would power the coil of a suitable relay from the solenoid operating circuit with the contacts supplying power to the high beam lights.

I actually got it activated today by getting a company in Calgary called ECUProgramming to look into it and re-code.
I got my amber corner lights turned off, fog lights activated with my halogens AND bi-xenons activated. LOOKS amazing.
