Domestic substitute for Cirolight ?
Hello all,
Im replacing the rear subframe bushings on my 02 X5. The Bentley book said to coat the new bushing with Cirolight before installation. I have no idea what that stuff is and have been unable to find any. I was thinking that soap and water would work well. When is instal motorcycle tires I use Windex, that lubes well and dries to allow a good bead seal. You need something to lube the bushing and then dry so that the bushing will stick into place. Any suggestions as to what to use? Thanks Pat |

I think that's what people tend to use around here. Soap water.
