where to get front axels ?
I need to replace the front left and right axel for a 4.6is X5 and since the economy sucks so bad I'm thinking to do it myself and also not buying front the dealer .Any refrerences where to buy,I've seen all kind of webs but can I trust their products or I should get it from dealer and do it myself ...?

Why are the axle's bad? or is it just CV boots that have torn?

Ouch, I feel your pain!. I just had both front CV boots (right and left) go bad within a week of each other and my X only has 45K miles on it.

Clicking and grinding while turning are two of the common descriptions of some of the sounds heard.

As for where to get them I have them avaible HERE.
