X5 4.4 heat exchanger help..
I have just replaced my heat exchanger and its thermostat (old one was clogged and causing overheat of transmission) and now the outlet line is leaking transmission oil. I should mention that the plastic end of the line is broken, but when I re-installed the line it seemed to 'settle' fine. In any case its leaking when I start the engine. So my question is, is there a seal for this I am missing (I see a hose clamp mentioned (part # 17221341603)), or do I have to completely replace this line now? Thanks for all the help in advance.. There are o-rings in those fittings that can be replaced. But if the plastic end is broken I don't know if it would seal.
