Help Identifying hose...
I came across a lose hose right next to the the oil dipstick hose and do not know where it connects to. Looks to be some sort of breather hose. Can someone please help identify it and possibly point out where it connects to: Green arrow: ![]()

Thanks for the reply. It could be that. Would you happen to have a diagram so I can locate and plug back. Edit: Thanks to your suggestion on the front diff breather, I found this thread: http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...-manifold.html This is exactly the hose I've been looking to identify. Now I have to find some time to plug it back.

If I am right and it is the breather pipe then the free end does not plug into anything, the pipe comes up from the diff and bends in a goose neck then stops.
