Panorama Rear Panel Tilt Fix
From Bimmerforums X Forum:
https://docs.google.com/document/edi...thkey=CJOxga4O I just performed this minor surgery on my panorama sunroof today. Symptoms were that rear panel would tilt up, but not close completely, causing front panel to attempt to close but then jam up against front of rear panel glass and return to tilt position as well. Recycling the sunroof, blah, blah, blah did nothing. This DIY fix by TFH absolutely WORKS! Follow it carefully and take your time. The fussiest part is moving the rear wedges back so that the rear panel will close from the tilt up position. I used a phillips screwdriver that I could jam into the hole in the middle of the wedge, and then gently tapped it with a hammer to manually move the wedge rearward. Once done, I could close the roof and reopen the front panel rearward and perform the surgery as specified. So now the front panel opens/tilts/closes completely along with the sun shade. The rear panel is permanently closed in the down position - its a great hack - so what - BFD! I got my 90% of my sunroof capability back at zero expense. Kudos TFH!!!!
