Aftermarket rear sun shade supplier
BMW X5 5dr 99-06 CAR SUN SHADES BLINDS TINT | eBay Appears to be a reputable company that custom makes these mesh sunshades. After conversion rate, it's about $220 or so shipped (as of today). In case the link goes bad, the eBay seller is: vanstyle-uk Supposedly stops 75% of the UV radiation. Thinking of getting some for my black car to help keep it cool as the summer heat slowly encroaches. I emailed them to see if they'll only sell me the side rear cargo bay shades and the rear trunk window shade only as my car already has the rear passenger door shades built in. Pictures below are only for representation.

I saw them on Ebay a while ago almost purchased them untill I noticed they do the rear window in 2 parts so you will see an ugly line down the back. I then said I will be patient and wait for someone to sell the holy graile OEM ones. I missed one sale from a memeber in louisiana he sold them for a huge discount. I am in the middle of a sale again for them.. only took a year of waiting. lol

Funny, I was going to post this after coming across the link in the OP while researching for my Audi.
Here is another manufacturer of the same kind of product. This one is German based and makes the rear shade in one piece but the bad news is that they do not show a fitment for X5. X1 and X3 owners are covered though. Sonniboy für Ihre Autoscheiben
