Door lock indicator not auto operating
I need some help with my door lock indicator. I just replaced my door lock actuator with a new one and everything is working properly as far as the door locking and unlocking goes. HOWEVER, it seems that the door lock indicator/peg is not working when I hit the lock/unlock. I can manually press down on the door lock indicator okay, and using the interior door lever I can unlock and open the door just fine. I can hear the new actuator cycling through the lock and unlock. Any ideas on why the door lock indicator is not moving with electronic lock/unlock cycles? |

Did some more testing:
1. Sat in the car 2. Used the lock button to lock all the doors (all doors' lock indicator goes down except for the one I just replaced the actuator) 3. Manually pressed down on the lock indicator on the last door 4. Used the lock button again to unlock all the doors; all the doors' lock indicator goes up...including the one that was just replaced. So it seems that the lock indictor won't go down automatically, but it will go up automatically. Any ideas anyone? |

NVM...took the door panel apart again and played with the door lock indicator. Turns out I had to push the stalk for it to be in a "set" position (kinda has a soft click once it's in place). Now it's working like champ.
