Thinking of buying 2005 4.8is, any thoughts?

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum and was hoping to get some feedback before I make my purchase.

I have always loved the 4.8is and found one (75K miles on it) that seems to be in good shape. I will be the 3rd owner of this car. I do plan on taking it to a BMW dealership for a prepurschase inspection, prior to pulling the trigger.

I have done much research and know that with this sort of mileage will, there is a good chance I may incur problems with the transmission and air suspension, but wanted to see if any current owners had any feedback.

I would appreciate any and all feedback.
