Trans Fail Safe again!

Hey Guys,

My transmission was rebuilt recently (second time). Now I am having different issues with it, and its becoming very puzzling.

After driving the car for a while in the city, when I come to a stop and then step on the gas to move again, there is no movement from the car. Eventually she will jump and there is the famous 'TRANS FAIL SAFE' mode warning. I turn the engine off and on and everything is good again though.

So far, the valve body was changed, the neutral safety switch was changed, got a new battery (alternator tested good) and it is still happening. What's also noticeable is before this happens and car is about to come to the stop, the gear change is not smooth. Transmission cooler is also changed, btw.

They are about to look at the control module, which worries me because its an expensive piece. Another transmission guy told me that rear subframe bushings can cause this problem when car comes to a stop and there is some sort of a disconnection from the wheels..

What do you guys think?

Ozzie..

fluid could possibly be low. these transmissions have to have precise amounts of fluid or problems could arise.

They are about to look at the control unit/cables..

Thank you!
