Pre 2003 boot liner

Sorry if this is a silly question!

I've just bought a 2001 X5 3.0d sport and I want to buy one of the plastic boot liner mats you see advertised on ebay.

The ones I have seen advertised are either for post 2007 cars, or 2003-2007 facelift mk1 cars.

Does anyone know if the boot was altered as part of the late 2003 facelift, or will a mat for a 2003-2007 model fit my 2001?

The boot is the same in all E53s 1999-2006.
