Couple questions about my 4.8is

Hi guys, i've got a 2005 BMW X5 4.8is. It's totally stock except for an underride guard and only 93k miles. I've been having some little problems lately, and want to know if anyone knows anything about them.

1) I have this problem where on occasion, the car won't start. It will keeping turning over but it won't fully start. It keeps cranking and if I give it some gas it starts. I can tell that its trying to start, it just can't fully get there on its own. I replaced the 3 Throttle Position Sensors and have been doing afuel cleaner everytime I fill up a full tank, i've done this about 4 or 5 times now. It doesn't happen as much anymore, but still does on occasion. I'm probably going to change the fuel filter and see how it goes, im just afraid that the fuel pump has gone bad. Has anyone experienced this?

2) Another problem that is been coming up lately is the transmission is acting a little funny. When traveling at speeds like 40+ down hill, it shifts down a gear and the rpms jump. It sometimes does this into the higher rpms judging by how hard im braking, i'm just afraid that the rpms will go to high. And sometimes when I am traveling at low speeds and do a stop and go, like at a stop sign, the transmission kicks. And its not like a little hit, its a good sized one. One time it hit 3 times in a row which really freaked me out. And then another time after I was racing a little bit, I was backing up into my driveway and the transmission kiked, but I think that was just because I was really giving it to it. I'm worried that something is wrong with my transmission. I know 745's and 750's have had the sam problem for the hill part. Does anyone know about this?

3) I think it's leaking coolant. I hope its no the valley pan coolant leak. Does anyone know how to check it? I also think it may be leaking a little bit of oil, a couple of drops every now and then.

Can someone please help me out? I've had X5's before. (A Stage 2 2003 DINAN 4.6is and stock 02 4.6is) But i've never had these problems before.

Thanks,
Danny
