Some REALOEM help re rear door window seal

My window and door seals are all in pretty decent shape except for one vertical seal in the tri angle shaped window on my rear left (driver's) side. It's cracking apart and needing attention. I really can't seem to determine which replacement part(s) from looking over Realoem I'd need. I see complete frames, channels, and wells but no replacment seal particular to this area; unless the seals are pre-installed within a complete frame? I'm stumped.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to resort to eletrical tape.

The pic is so tight to the window...there's no perspective...can't tell if you're asking about interior or exterior.

If exterior...did you consider either #21 (entire frame which may come with)...or #22 at the link to this diagram?

Thanks for the reply; yes it is on the exterior.

I considered part # 22 but the description is a "window guide". It almost seems the seal insert should be triangular in shape and would fit into part #21.

It is somewhat confusing...and the reason I considered it might be #22 is that the description includes the word "web" (Window guide web, left or Window guide web, right). What is the "web"...is it the seal?

Perhaps your local BMW dealerships parts department can be more helpful. If they don't know the answer...if they don't have both in stock...they may be able to order both and only charge you for the correct part.

Yeah, I should swing by the dealership and get more detailed information. I appreciated your help, Q. I was thinking I must be overlooking the obvious.

Perhaps it is just something that Realoem missed listing a part for.

a further pic would be a lot better than we would know exactly what your talking about.

Appears to be a one-piece inner seal

I too think it looks like part #21. The discription given by Realoem is a "FRAME" and that's what makes me second guess when I want to order it. Estuning has a pic of this part and it does seem to be a rigid hard plastic "frame" that snaps in place and not a rubber weatherstipping seal that should be more like a pliable gasket that is installed on my X.

I'll get clairification from the dealer on this part. Perhaps in BMW speak a "frame" and "gasket" are one in the same.
