4.6is transmission rebuild - part list help

hi after reading couple posts from here and RR forum im going to rebuild my tranny
big thanks to RRPhil TRIX5 Civdiv99 and others who mad write ups sorry if I missed anybody

my tranny does the rev in first than slam into gear than limp mode
getting codes for
gear monitoring (31)
gear monitoring 2,3 (34) (35)
fluid never been changed im @127K miles

I believe its bad O-ring as many others who did theirs transmission

basically I want to source all my parts as I want to get it done over weekend
my friend will let me use his shop

this is the list of parts I want to get .
please add anything that is most common and should be replaced


overhaul kit $133.78
oil tubes E $ 40.95
oil tube F $22.45
sprag $144.11
rear output seal (included in kit) $15.94
axial needle roller bearings
1058-202-016 $12.35
0735-368-067 $31.89
0735-368-064 $19.99
0735-368-078 $5.96
0735-368-079 $6.62
1058-274-001 $12.92
friction plate kit $169.92
Steel plate kit $194.52
F molded piston $ 33.17

I will be getting my parts from Eriksson industries

any input is greatly appreciated thanks

Don't forget the fluid! I have a ZF 6hp26 and used RL D4 when I changed the filter and seal on the electronics connector for the mechtronic unit ( wasn't leaking bad, but for $10 it was a no brain'er )

I suggest you also rebuild the valve body while you are there, its actually a really easy job
I'm sure you can get a kit from your current supplier...

Have you thought about swapping in a 5 or 6 speed manual?
