engine idle dips when coming to a stop

hi, all
i have replaced a valley pan gasket , and while i was at it, i clean the tb and intake manifold on my 02 x5 4.4.
after everything was put back together, i noticed engine idle dips to about 300 and comes back up to normal idle speed, when coming to a stop. it only happens when engine is warmed up, and when i put gear in D position. if i put gear in S mode, car drives just fine.
thanks for your input in advance.

I have same problem ...couldnt fix it yet . Tried everything .... Now got worst , sometime engine stops if the gear is in P . I'm thinking replacing the acceleration pedal, it might not give the right signal to the throttle

Hi,
I still have this problem. today i plug in the scanner to check for any stored fault codes, and found nothing. so i was going through data streaming and found this on bank 1

and here is reading on bank 2

Could this be faulty cam sensor on bank 2. if cam sensor is faulty, could this cause above symptom.
thanks for your input,

Camshaft sensors are relatively inexpensive to replace. Change both out and see if it helps? Please let us know the outcome if you do!

Good Luck!!

The diagnostic says CRANKSHAFT sensor but adaptation angle seems to indicate camshaft sensor .
AFAIK there is only one crankshaft sensor .
Best have diagnosis on a different code reader to clarify .
