3.0d special edition
Hey guys,
Does anyone know if the 3.0d special edition came with aluminum running boards? I am trying to order a set of the fender flares that came on the 3.0d special edition through getbmwparts.com, but am worried that these flares won't fit if there are rb's installed (pretty sure I saw that elsewhere on this forum). I have tracked down the part#and discussed with Jason at getbmwparts.com, I am just double checking to make sure theyll fit with rb's

my understanding it that there are TWO different part numbers, based on weather you have running boards or not, my understanding is that this is the complete kit.

51710398336 = LeMans Special Edition Front and Rear Flares Retrofit Kit (WITH RUNNING BOARDS)

Yes, they ARE with RBs. I have the same ones. They will ONLY fit if you have RBs installed.

These are the ones i have -> BMW E53 X5 N62 4.4L > Exterior > Body > Fender Flares > ES#127309 Fender Flare Retrofit Kit - 51710398336

I purchased mine from Kelowna BMW Canada and was told the SE flares are available for both with RBs and non RBs, mine has RBs.

true, but i can pick up the parts locally if i order from getbmwparts.com (which i did)

also ordered rb's and front skid plate.

cant wait to get it all on!
