Gauge Face Change

Has anyone done a gauge face change on the e53? I was watching a wheeler dealer re-run last night where they did an M5, and I love the grey faces.

I understand using actual m5 clusters etc...doesnt work very well, but has anyone used the overlays they sell on ebay?

i heard its tedious but totally doable, Tom also colored the needles with a Red sharpie, looked fantastic.

As you may or may not know, the 4.6 and 4.8 both used the M5 style guage cluster.

Overlays won't quite get you there, the clusters are completely different.
