Milltek could at least provide photos of the exhaust system for the X5!If they designed one for the car ,they must have pictures or a Gallery with system they installed?
I get bery weary of buying something when I cant see what I am buying!!!!

Pictures???

Greetings from Glasgow...

Well, I've e-mailed them for a quote, but their media section has no sound files or pictures...and they promise a dubious 5-10% performance gain...when I can't evidence they've ever supplied/fitted and TESTED the gain for an X5 3.0d..

Hhhmm, once I get the quote back I'll let you know. DRIVERS in Glasgow will supply and fit...price on it's way too.

Here's the pictures

http://www.x5.org.uk/index.php?cPath=52

I'm about to order a set £585 delivered, by far the best noise for the price. Remus are a little too quiet for me, nothing boy racy just a nice low speed rumble and high rev growl with no resonance or vibration.

I'll post some pice when i fit

Nice to hear that you got a GBP 108.25 discount + inclusive of Post & Packing costs.
Their rear silencers seem to be the same for all X5s(the 3.0D being more expensive since the kit has to include additional clamp on connections),would be interesting to know before ordering if Milltek are also using the same pipe diametre for all systems????This would not be advisable!

Whitey, we're from Galashiels in the Borders. We picked up our X5 about a month ago. Loving it.

Are you going on the www.newminiscotland.co.uk / www.bmwccscotland.co.uk meet on Sunday 5th February?

You can also have what ever tip you like, they can supply with the OEM style 4.8 tip, if you wish - extra cost though I think.

Another good site, Thorney Motorsport

http://www.thorneymotorsport.co.uk/i...hp?cPath=25_38

Milltek / Thorney Motorsport developed a 4.8 system that sounds better than an eisenmann race. Think the blokes name is Steve Thorney, seen a couple of posts on this site and others.

well I've just booked my motor in @ drivers to get the Remus exhuast fitted £700. don't want anything that sounds loud just want normal but a exhaust that stick through the body kit. So fingers crossed remus will be ok.
