a.c compressor dont come on
hey guy my a.c compressor wont come on no warning at all
i tried to add freon but it wont take it seems to be full so i ran a hot wire direct to the compressor and it wont click is it safe to say the compressor is done? or is there anything else i could check i keep reading about Final Stage Resistor but i think thats only for blower problems my blower is working fine but the compressor wont kick on hence no cold air please help its hotttttttttt outside

Measure the resistance of tue clutch.
You say you ran a hot wire to the clutch, did you gound it also? |

The clutch spins freely and I would assume its already grounded

That assumption may be your problem. I'm not sure if that is a ground controlled system. Meaning the dme supplies the ground to activate the clutch and power is there all the time.
It might not be, were there 1 or 2 wires in the connector? And by measure the resistance I mean with an ohm meter, not your hand... |
