HELP! 2002 Hatch(upper) Release
When you push the trunk release button, the trunk doesn't fully release. I have to have someone manually lift the hatch open when I push the button. Otherwise, it will not open. You can hear the latch mechanism unlocking but the hatch won't release fully unless someone lifts the hatch while you depress the release button. Is the actuator bad? Is it the shocks that need replaced?
