adding 4.6is front bumper to 2006 4.4i....

is this possible? all im wanting is the lower spoiler piece (part #7 in the diagram 2003 BMW X5 Parts - getBMWparts.com - Exceptional Pricing | Unparalleled Service | Genuine BMW Parts)
can i add this piece directly to my existing 2006 4.4i bumper? I know the rear spoiler piece clips directly over, and that to get the 4.8is front bumper you need to get a whole new cover...

thanks in advance for the help

Yes you can all you have to do is cut off all the taps in the back of the spoiler and use Windshield Adhesive.

Apparently installing it is quite easy. The difficult part is finding one that doesn't break the bank!
