Hmm, my GF is a service advisor at our local BMW dealer, their parts guys told her that none are available in the US... I wonder if they actually did a dealer search?

BMW switched OE supplier with the E70 X. Westfalia has had there panties in a bunch for years over this and are not "jumping thru hoop" when BMW is on the line.

Try " CAMP OUT" on rt 22...theye my client...they may have it...look for Jordan(part owner) or nicole(owner)...tell them Mike sent you the one with the BMW X5..theyll know me..nicole's friend.....i see them doing hitches and truck caps

Thanks! I'm in south Jeresy though... right outside of Philly. I'm looking for OEM because it comes with the wiring harness, etc.

I got mine from BMW Of Bloomfield and had them ship it to me in SC.

I bought the last one from ECS tuning right before it went on back order because all of the dealers were out of them and it was ECS's last one. All the dealers that told me "try this dealer they are showing one in stock" did not have any in actual stock and told me they were on back order and didn't know when they would be around again. My suggestion would be to order a aftermarket hitch and buy them OEM wire harness seperate, that is what i did in my last x5 and it worked fine. As long as the dealers or ECS are still able to get the wire harness.
