Front end vibration over 40mph

Ok both thrust arm, ball joints, stabilizer links and tie rods have been done. Wheel have been balanced. Just did the front brakes and the calipers are not hung. I check the cv's and the bearings and all seemed tight. Yet I still have a harsh vibration from 40-60. At a steady cruising speed it is fine. I have noticed it goes away on turns. Which leads me to believe the cv or the hub. But both felt tight. Anything i'm missing?

Have you replaced the rear wheel control ams, ball joints and bushings? Vibrations may be emanating from the rear end and felt up front.

Other options are wheel/ hub bearings, flex disc and drive shaft carrier bearing.

Good Luck!

I've felt transferred vibrations before. This is def. centered in the front end somewhere. I guess I'm gonna have to use the warranty and take it to the dealer. If I cant figure this out.

I've read before that the CVs still fail even though they seem fine. Could be a bunch of things really.

The first thing I would do is get an alignment. I just had mine redone after 6 months. This time I found a Hunter Code Link machine. The thing even re calibrates the steering angle in the cars computers.

I say this because it is evident that turns make it stop, and you seemed to have ruled out the obvious balance, and cv joint issues. And alignment changes while turning.

I recommend this test, drive your X till it reaches the vibration speed and then throw tranny in neutral, if it still vibrates it's not the drive train.

I just re-read that. I'll have to find a quiet road. Because hitting the brakes to put it back in drive on the thruway may not be a good idea. lol

You mentioned you have warranty... why not let them correct the problem?

Then it is definitely a suspension issue. You might want to check the parts that you installed for correct orientation, missing bushings, etc. Finally have your alignment checked.
