Exclamation Sunroof internal cover half opens

Hi there, the internal manual sunroof cover was opening properly some days ago. No it opens to about halfway, then it hit some obstacle on the right track (I just can feel it) and stop.

This interrupts the electrical operation of the sunroof.

Trying to reset it (press for 20 seconds) drove thing worse! now the glass is half open and moving back and forth a little. The manual opening/closing (with the tool kit key) moves it a little, but not to fully close position.

Any ideas before sending the beast to garage? Thanks.

9-MONTHS LATER UPDATE:

For the non-panoramic sunroofs, to initialize/ reset (e.g. after motor replacement):

1- Single-press UP to go to the vent mode.
2- continuously-press UP (around 20 sec) until the glass lid jiggles or pops up a little.
3- Let go then, within five seconds, continuously-press UP again.
4- Now it goes into a full-cycle that starts in the vent mode and ends in the closed mode.
5- If you let button go before full-cycle achieved you should repeat above four steps.
