NGK Spark Plugs for 2003 X5 4.6is

https://www.amazon.com/NGK-BKR6EQUP-...ustomerReviews

Does anyone know if these are the right spark plugs for my M62 engine?

Is it pregapped so I don't have to mess with the gaps?

Much obliged!

You may prefer these and yes you can probably find them at a better price than the 19 AZ wants for them.

I find that the “quad tips” really aren’t all that impressive.

Thanks Purplefade, but the vehicle match on the site shows the plugs not matching my 4.6is.

They are pre gapped and excellent spark plug. I've used them in my 97 528, 98 540, 01 Audi S8 and 03 4.6is. Never had an issue. They are correct plug for M52, S52, M54 and M62.

Ahh rats, I did fat finger the 4.8is in there... sorry about that.

That said, looks like the NGKs you selected do fit . (But I’m still personally not a huge fan of them, though that’s just my opinion..., I find that though they do have 4 contact points that they tend to “pick one” and hit it the majority of the time. Me and a few of my gearhead buddies tested them way back in the day, and I personally like the single contact fine point iridiums better. Again, just my opinion - not saying they’re a bad plug.)

Thank you guys both for the advice!

I’m refinishing the valve covers and thinking about doing the spark plugs while I have the covers out.

I will post the covers once I pick them up this week!
