Observations from a new owner random and of low importance

so i've had my X5 for a little over a month now - and yes I've already had it in for repair...LOL panoroof but moreover some observations...

Door lock and emergency flasher location. Two buttons - one used probably the most, one the least. Why are they located right next to each other? Seems the flasher button should get moved - i can see how the location is handy for an emergency but damn if I haven't turned it on a couple of times already.

Instrument Panel visibility - I'm 6'3". I don't like my head to touch the roof so my seat is fairly low, I also don't like the steering wheel to feel like I'm driving a bus so the wheel is low as well. In my current config I don't see much on the spedo under 60 or the tach. My only remedy seems to be raising up the wheel to the height of my old volkswagon van! Kinda funny.

What other oddities have I missed?

Overall though the car kicks ass - especially when your're in a hurry!

Oh and 1 more thing - I recently drove down I5 through a torrential rain storm - wow amazing visibility, stability etc. Next day sunshine, panoroof and fresh air!

Cheers oh and in case my tag or whatever doesn't work:

Sad to say, but no real big surprise there, get ready for more repairs.
