How everyone should park their X overnight.

You never know when you come out in the morning, and you just need to check that the trans is still there, or the transfer case actuator didn't die. Stuff like that.

I crack myself up sometimes. This was during my last AFT maintenance. Just found it funny when looking through the pics.

HAHA. I remember one morning I went in the garage to get in the X and I just see motor oil everywhere on the floor. My reaction was, "Oh $hit. Well thats it. She just decided to have diarrhea on the floor and she is dead."

I squeegee the floor a bit to get a look under the X. Get the creeper out and the light. Start looking and don't see anything dripping or anything. I scratched my head and thought, WTH? Then, while still under the X, I turn my head to the passenger side and what do you know, the "Used Oil" can tipped over overnight and spilled 5 gallons of oil out on the floor. Now some would be pissed. I kissed my X, then got pissed. lol

LOL!

I love working under the X, sooooo much room coming from years of lowered Volkswagens lol. Unless you really want to be comfy, you hardly have to use rhino ramps, but you may as well have 2 sets just so you can have your own "vehicle lift" in the garage!

Thanks Naz, Yea took me quite some time to lay all that tile. But all worth it in the end.

Someday, I will put an in-floor lift pad, but not this house I think. Garage ceiling is too low.

Did any of you ever try doing this on 4 ramps before. Freaky as hell. Holding the throttle just right not to overshoot them, but not being a bitch and letting up. You let up, the ramps sometimes shoot out. And the truck just lifts up, its freaky.

TTGTR, I kicked over the used ATF oil can (compound bucket with about 3 gal full). It took me twenty rags, another 5 gal bucket of sand, and my clothes that were on me to get the river to stop before hitting my garage threshold and going down the drain. Then it took all of my brake clean, and near death to get the slippery shit off my floor. Now I was pissed.

It's very unnerving doing the drive up four ramps. I'm looking into a safer feeling drive up set up like the one below

It's only scary the first 3 times. After that, phhht, takes me two seconds. And yes, that setup you got there is nice, but would take up a ton of space.

Hmmm, thats a nice set up. Yea it is a little agonizing getting it on all four ramps evenly. Awesome job on the ATF lol. My neighbor who didn't know much just yelled out, Just hose it off?!?!?! Whaaaaa??? Yeah, he want be running the EPA anytime soon.
