speaker grills

Anyone fitted different speaker grills to the door panels. My rear ones are split (happened before I bought it). The door skin is slightly curved there so I am wondering if anyone has fitted aftermarket speakers/grills and found a suitable alternative. Otherwise I am thinking that I may have to get something generic that stands out from the door and trim the edges with a dremel to fit.

Looks like ECS Tuning has them for about $20 each.

Might be an option instead of trying something that might not work.

Only reason I am thinking of an alternative is that the originals seem to be pretty flimzy. I don't want to spend $30 each (could be a lot more in expensive Australia) for something that is not going to last.

^The originals lasted 10+ years presumably, mine are 12 years old on my door cards and just fine.

Yep, mine are still perfect at 9 years old.
