How do I turn off the red BC light?

Red BC light is on and I can't turn it off. I tried the following but it's not working:

- press the bc button
- turn the key to position 1
- press the clock
- look for "vent on", press to off
- when BC light is flashing, I turned the key to 0 then start the car.

Anyone?

Never mind. I figured it out. Timer 2 was somehow set.
