Turtle Wax Headlight Lens Restorer
Hey everyone,
My 02 X5 has lived its life up north in the new england traveling between Maine and other northern states, It's been 10 years and the headlights were becoming a little gloomy and hazed. Not to bad but not attractive anymore. So I stopped by walmart for a restore kit, I was very tempted to buy the mothers brand restore with the drill attachment, it was like 21$. But I decided to go with the turtle wax brand after my co-worker recommended it. The kit was just under 10$. I got home and started doing the restore process. I kind of had an idea on how its done. So this process took around 1.5/2 hours and the results were very good. Looks like new. The process is mostly wet sanding with 4 different grit pads. I have pictures attached, And YOU be the judge on how it came out. (DISCLAIMER- Restore LOOKS Better in person, due to iPhone camera and lack of light) __________________________________________________ _______________ The Kit- ![]() ![]() Start- ![]() ![]() Prepping ![]() Finished Look ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Rear Tails Start ![]() ![]() ![]() Prepping ![]() Finished ![]() ![]() Thats It!
