Ian thank you very much for that info, and of course I would think that would be pulling the engine from the bottom, right? I will make sure to label everything properly. |

The engine comes out from the front, and upwards as it sits on top of the engine mounts. To do that you need to take the complete front end off including the radiators, which isnt as bad as it sounds as its designed to come off in one lump. If you are just taking the heads off I would still take the front off as access is way easier, and you can actually reach the back of the engine. Dont forget to check your gearbox oil when you are done as you will probably lose some. This was one of the things the 'Indy' FORGOT when I had them change my camchains, which is why I overhauled the engine myself
