Hi J,
I had a similar issue, in fact mine hasn't worked in a while until I recently got around to fixing it. I couldn't find the relay (i thought the front and rear shared a relay) so I just removed the back cover, unplug the wiper motor and measure for continuity and made sure I am still getting voltage whenever the wiper is engaging on the harness. Once I found out everything is working from that perspective, I went ahead and plugged it back and tapped the metal casing with a screw driver (starter motor test :-) )and heard the motor run for a short period and quit again. This narrowed the issue down to a connection in the motor in my case, so I just took everything apart and soldered the broken wire and back in business. Now these wiper motors are infamous for burning a chip on the circuit board, you can choose to swap the chip (i think i have the chip)with some soldering or next option is changing the entire wiper motor. Hopefully in your case it will be something simple. Good luck..
