xhaust questions/brainstorming

im curious to see what you guys think of cutting the mufflers but leaving the stock resenator...

i want the tailpipes to stick out further

iam more than happy to leave the stock muffs, and install a X pipe in place of the resenator

but im hoping someone has info on the sound and/or performance gain of muff delete

Search for H pipe on here. I think it not only sounds better, but less torque loss.

I also say that you will loose some torque by removing the mufflers.

Here is a video of a X5 with the muffler removed. The sound is more like an american V8.

H-pipe eh... Reminds me of my 5L mustang days

The video of the muffler delete is pretty wild,
Sounds like a 4.6 mustang with xhaust
