Xenon retrofit question

Hey guys, i was wondering if you could help me out.
i have an 04 X5 3.0, i saw that this guy was selling ballasts for 04 05, but there are no wires and waht not, waht else would i need to complete a retrofit? in the way of wires, i know i would need bulbs..

You'll likely also need a resistor pack to keep errors from popping up on the MID. See http://www.xoutpost.com/showarticle-34.html

would i be better off just buying a retrofit kid from a company, or would i run into the same problem?

It depends on whether or not the kit includes a solution to the difference in electrical characteristics that the resistor pack cares for

you would figure that BMW"s own ballasts would account for that.., alright, if i got that fix, and these ballasts, then all i would need would be bulbs? no other wires or anything? do the headlights and the power both clip into these ballasts?

sorry, im really new to this mod

the only reason i am thinking about going this route is that it would be cheaper and they would be OEM parts..

gee, the guy is selling xenon ballasts when all of his other items for sale are dvd's.... hmmmmm, i just wonder if they're hot.... nahhh, couldn't be....

hey, i wanted to replace my halogne set up on my 02 x5, with the complete new facelift set up. i can get the housing without all the other things such as the ballasts and bulbs. is this setup possible and can it be done ?
