Folding Mirror Clicking

Driver's side mirror gives me three clicks after opening up each morning.

I did a search and saw some chatter about holding the mirror in while cycling the switch, but that didn't work. It did make a lot of noise though. Was I supposed to hold both mirrors in when I hit the switch? My arms are long, but they aren't that long!

Is there a way to resychronize the mirrors so the driver's side one doesn't go click-click-click each morning?

Thanks!

No just hold the one. I had this happen to me right when I purchased the car. I think the dumb ass transporter hit it, or force closed it. So I just held it somewhere in the middle. Like not open or closed, and my wife hit the mirror button. I felt when it caught. Has been fine since then.

Finally got around to this the other day. Worked like a charm. It was clearly obvious when to let go of the mirror.

Thanks SlickGT!
