My understanding is it make for a great HUD.

Yep, I have on a Motorola Zoom with a Bluetooth ODBII unit plugged into the ODB Diagnostic port (under the steering wheel).

It is a great app, and it can record the information over a trip.

The only thing, and this isnt the app, it is not really real time.. it is delayed by about .5 secs, but I put that down to the ODB unit itself and transmitting over Bluetooth.
