eccentric shaft position sensor covered in oil

Hello, everyone.
Just noticed on my wife's 4.4 that both eccentric shaft position sensors are covered in oil. They were clean about 4-5 months ago when I changed the plugs. It currently has 65k miles on it, anyone have an idea if its just the seals leaking or can oil make its way through the sensor if its going bad?
