My clean X5, what customs to do on IT??

Just bought my first e53_3.0d_2005. As it is standard high exec, should I make some (affordable) adjustments?

Already flushed gearbox and tuned engine.

Running board & wheels (19") after the winter, thanks. Don't know about the windows, i think i like the "see through" look of the beige outdoor & interior.
Black rims on a beige car.. too much...?

Sent from my Lumia 900 using Board Express

All depends on your style and what you want it to look like...
look at a user pnyako here...he has similar color and black rims...
looks very nice, start with tints- as it gets annoying in the sun and the shades aren't enough.

really what you need to do is spend time on the fourm and look at what other people are doing than sit in the back of your X5 for some time and think of what you want changed....

start small and get familiar with the car and it will start changing...
good luck, keep us updated.

The biggest adjustment you need to do is...Get rid of those EURO headlights and swap them out to us here in US.
Btw Nice ride.

IMO wheels/tires would be the best way to start. Go for the factory sized 20" 275/40 and 315/35. Add spacers if necessary.

The smarter idea would be to put the money into some preventative maintenance. The cooling system is likely do for some work, suspension too.

Looking good as is, cheers.

Before purchase had it checked by BMW dealership (friend). Car is technically in good condition, previous owner was some rich guy with money to burn So maintenance was never any issue.

Everybody thanks for the tips, i'll look into it.
