Wiper arm compatibility question

I noticed the rear* wiper arm has cracks and looking at arms on eBay it goes from anywhere 50-100 bucks. Now the E70 wiper arm is a lot cheaper, but am not sure if the two are compatible or not.. Those with E53 and E70, can you look and tell me if they are interchangeable? Thanx

ok Gotcha... I don't have an e70 only e53 but that price doesn't seem that bad...

Even if people had both and E53 and E70 they may have not tried what you asked for. So, what you're asking may not be a common occurrence.

According to realoem, they are both M8 but the thread pitch is not given. Without that info. we can't say for sure.
