Congrats,
Did it fight back or it wasn't that difficult to remove? Which way did you do it? I bought a 39" breaker bar...and am getting ready.

It took a 3ft breaker bar and a 3ft cheater pipe on top to persuade it to break free. I also had my brother help. 4 hands is a must, but really it was not too bad, just a little nervous putting that much force on a bolt.
Overall the job has not been too bad at all, very simple and strait forward. What got me was there are a few housing bolts that seemed to be hidden and it took me a bit to find all of them.

It may seem a silly question,but why did you need the bell housing bolts touched?

Changing the guides without removing the chains
It was surprisingly easy. Had to shave the head of one bolt a bit, but it worked.

Sorry I am not following you, I did not remove the bell housing bolts. I removed the crank damper bolt also known has harmonic balancer.

Never mind,for some reason I had understood a bell housing,just never heard covers being called housing.

CAM TOOL
You need the timing tool to hold the cam lobes a certain way so they dont bend the valves !!! But the chains can be left on while you do that . You cant change the guides with out it !!
