Can't Afford Headlights :-(

HAHA...Yes I love my x5 but im in the category of not exactly being able to afford anything I want for it. Whats a guy to do? I would like to upgrade the headlights (2003 Xenon) but the less expensive options on ebay seem to be for non-xenons only and the sweet depo lights are like $500...suggestions? Anyone try the tinting film over the lens? I think its illegal in CA though.

A light tint should be OK...Not sure why you would want anything darker as it limits the light output. I have the optix blue film (mostly for protective reason) on my Mcoupe for over a couple of years now and hadn't ran into any issue with the ticket happy OC cops.
