Which Antenna To Connect To After Market Head Unit?
Just installed a new Head Unit and radio reception is not quite as good as OEM.
There are 2 antenna connections on the OEM Radio Module. I used the typical antenna adapter for the smaller cable: ![]() Should I also get this Aerial Adapter below? ![]() Thank you. |

I used the typical adapter (first one on your pics) and it is fine with my Pioneer.

Great! Thx for the reply. For some reason I get better
reception connecting to the one in the 2nd pic.
I guess for people doing this, try both. If anyone has found a way to use BOTH antennas so we can have a True Diversity solution like OEM, please post how you did it. Last edited by thunderX; 11-12-2012 at 11:27 PM. |
