Fog light upgrade
Just picked up my CPO 2003 X5 4.4 last night and I have a couple of questions. Has anyone used PIAA 2005 Xtreme bulbs in the fog /driving lights? I had a Jeep GC and I used them in the fogs, low and high beams, nice. Had to remove the small tab on the inside center of the bulb base for the lows and fogs. Also, I just noticed that under the hood and inner fender wells is light gray and not painted silver like the rest of the car??? CarFax indicated car was fine. Is that normal? Thanks DRS |

re: fog light upgrade
Thanks for the information..........................
This is my fourth BMW last one was an E36 M3, GREAT Vehicles. Regarding the PIAA bulbs, were the H11s used or the 9005 high beam bulbs? They don't have the coating on the tip so light is much better. I'll post some pictures over the weekend. Thanks again, drs |
