How to recondition the leather interior?

2001 X5.

Leather is not all the way cracking, but there are definitely white visible creases showing. I have used the Lexol products - soap and conditioner. But when all is done and dry, the white creases come out again. Plus it's not 'oh so soft' anymore.... =(

Suggestions?

I have the two tone grey and black leather seats.

IMO, Leatherique is the finest leather care product you can use. It is meant to restore leather a lot worse than your's.

It's a 2 step process, so use both the Rejuvinator Oil and Pristine Clean. It's expensive but really worth it when you see the results.
Having said that, if the dye has come out of the leather on the white lines you spoke of, you'll probably need to have a leather repair professional re-dye it.

Leatherique

It really is the best. Where it really works is on older interiors where the leather is crackly and stiff. I bought some die and restorer and conditioner from them a few years ago and re-did the whole interior of an E 34 (black exterior, beige interior) and when it was done, it was a knockout. Super easy to use.

i'd get a 16 oz of each to try it. maybe an 8 oz of the Rejuv. Oil becasue you'll only need it a couple times a year. you'll want to use the Pristine Clean every time you clean your leather.
edit...Btw, the best way to use the Rejuv. Oil is to spread it on very liberally, i mean you want it saturated. Then, roll up your windows and park your car out in the hot sun as long as possible-like at least 12 hrs, 2 days would be better. Then use the Pristine Clean to clean off the residue left on the seats.

That's an awesome technique. Gonna give it a shot. Too bad I live in San Fran, where we don't have HOT days. Just mild, at best. I'll probably soak it for 24 hours and go from there. Right on, appeciate the leads tremendously.
