Navigation V32?

Hi,

I would like to upgrade the software on my 2005 BMW X5 E53.

I have heard about firmware v32 but there are many different versions out there.

Could someone let me know what the latest and best version to download is and where i can find it?

Also what are the latest maps available for my vehicle?

Thanks

Tommy

Either the V31 or the V32 disk with take a MkIV to the latest OS release level of 4-1/00.

The latest map disk is the 2013 edition.

I see your location is Gibraltar. Which Gibraltar? Just curious, as I live in Gibraltar, Michigan.

I have the 2012 version of the map care to share?

The Navigation forum here on Xoutpost is one of the go to forums for Nav OS/firmware upgrade for MANY other BMW forums. Many BMW forums will link you to a couple of the threads in the forum here.

Click the link at the top of the page for BMW SAV FORUMS, then scroll down to the NAVIGATION FORUM. There are MULTIPLE threads in that forum that will have links that will allow you to download and burn a V31/V32 disc that will update your Nav's operating system...as well as explains what each version ("V_ _") adds or takes away to the Nav set-up (MK I/MK II/ MK III/MK IV) you have installed in your vehicle.
