Arrow Got new tires, cheap (off brand thread)

I was in need of 2 new rears, and an alignment,

Cheapest i could find contis was $552 shipped, i looked at what else was out there and just wanted to find the best deal i could, also open to trying something new...

I found the atturo az800s, good cheap tire, alot of good reviews on them out there, and alot of jeep srt8 guys running them, just look it up on forums.

Atturos would have cost me around $331 shipped, but i also saw other tires around the same price, but just a tad cheaper, called Delinte D8s, formerly they were also called d4000s or something but lil different tread.

I know some of you are skeptical about tires and the sense, believe me when i say im picky, especially with tires, i love running the good stuff on all the cars, but this time around either for good or bad decieded to try something against the "grain".

I didnt find many reviews on the delinte d8s, but i did find a few with srt8 300c and also another more detailed srt8 jeep board review, the guys said they handled amazing in wet/dry/snow and a guy had them on his car for 50k miles worn all the way down with pics,, which was enough for me to give them a try.

Total cost was $302 for 2 Delinte D8 315/35/20 tires shipped to my door.

I will update this thread as i get them mounted this weekend most likely and an alignment.

Also here is the srt8 thread link for anyone interested: http://www.cherokeesrt8.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=75468

Heres a quick pic of them:

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
Well at least the Delinte's don't have the flames on the sidewall like the Atturo's LOL

I'll admit I'm a bit skeptable about those being anything but marginal in snow....any serious amount of snow anyway. Aren't they marketed as a SUV performance tire (loosely translated as "3-season" most of the time)?

X5SND,, im not expecting miracles in snow,, for one wide wheels in snow regardless of tire wont perform like a skinner tire both with snow tires even,

But with the contis last season when they still had good tread i was actually surprised how well it did even with the wide tires,,

Anyways not going to be driving crazy or anything in snow, but at least i have tires with deep tread all around now,, old rear contis were dangerous even in light rain cause worn bad.

Just got these mounted tonight, so far feel great, but i cant say much as ive driven like 10 miles on them.

On a side note and real long story short i also landed the deal of century with assistant manager,,

Got both of these mounted and balanced w hunter machine for a total of $32 with tax, includes lifetime balancing.

Tomorrow morning am going back for alignment, on hunter hawkeye machine,, he gave me deal.... $60,, yup $60 bucks includes like 3000 mile warranty or 3 months or something,, dont even care about that at the moment, cant beat this whole deal anywhere lol.

I went with the $161 Hankook, and have no issues. Tires are one of the things I wouldn't go 100% cheapskate on.

bmw3er... Looks like you have the 4.4i, which im assuming has either 18 or 19 inch wheels, which makes tire price go down, but they are nowhere near as wide as the 4.8is wheels, which also brings price down.

There are no hankooks for our size anywhere close to 161.
